Bibi Shanaz Ali has focused on the expansion of her competencies and the creation of a strong network of alliances to achieve her personal goal of: Supporting rural and urban women and youth and micro and small businesses as it relates to food and nutrition security and sovereignty, sustainable livelihoods, natural resource conservation, climate change and decent work for all.
Bibi is a Conscious Business Change Agent, a Law of Attraction Life Coach and an Ayurvedic Technician; founder of the non-for-profit organization (2015), The Caribbean Network for Empowerment Through Training (CNETT) with a mission of creating conscious businesses, leaders and lifestyles through the offer of (a) Technical and Competency Based Education and Training and (b) support for micro and small agri-businesses development (www.cnett.org); Assistant Professor at the University of Trinidad and Tobago for Agricultural Programmes as well as Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Research Scientist, National Project Coordinator and Consultant for several agricultural and biodiversity projects across the Caribbean Region.
Bibi holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a Ph.D. in Plant Science.
