Claudia Welss – Host
Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 am Pacific
Who are the new philanthropists and how can they leverage their charitable giving to create transformational change? The Conscious Business Philanthropy panel shares visions of how to impact society’s most pressing problems at both the individual and systemic level through the conscious allocation of capital. Panelists explore new models for empowering the underserved with financial dignity, transforming the concept of philanthropy for both the beneficiary and the giver, bridging communities of wealth and social entrepreneurship, and directing the flow of capital toward improving the health and well-being of the planet, of humanity and of the web of life.
At the end of this panel there is a short interview with Dr. William Spady who is best known across the world for his transformational work on Outcome-Based Education.
